NHS TUTORING

A student helping another student learn is a  benefit to both pupils.    Studies have shown that when a student can explain material to another student,  it increases their own understanding.  Teachers are a wonderful resource, but not the only resource that should be used.  A student may feel less intimidated asking another student for help rather than a teacher.  Student tutors are available and willing to help other students.  The National Honor Society is happy to provide these services to the Oakcrest student.
