Due to the overwhelming response from last year’s World War II project, Oakcrest has decided to make the three day unit an annual event. This year’s theme is Jersey Shore and planning is already underway. The project will be conducted Wednesday, May 25, 2005 through Friday, May 27, 2005. Each day has been assigned a respective theme of Industry/Casino, Ecology, and Tourism/Recreation. Several activities have already been scheduled: Jersey Shore Job Fair, Ocean Life Center Touch Tank, Cardboard Regatta at Lake Lenape, Discover Scuba (presented by East Coast Diving Supply), and Boardwalk Night, to mention a few. Stacey Culleny, Lea Fitzpatrick, and Drew Muzslay, are working feverously to make the project as big of a success as it was last year.
