• First meeting on 1/19/05.
• Open to all grades – female students only

Round 1: Portfolio (Due February 7th)
• Resume- courses, club/volunteer, job, interests, future plans
• GPA must be a minimum of 88%
• Need 10 teacher signatures – serve as support
• Picture- single person, head shot
• Essay- 1 page, double spaced, 12pt. font
o Choose a Jersey Shore platform: explain why we should raise money for your efforts
• The top 12 candidates will move onto Round 2

Round 2: Final (Top 12 Announced on 2/14/05)
• Required website page – due 3/9/05
• Poster board for lobby – due 5/19/05
• Two minute video summary of your town history/information (due 4/20/05)
o No use of editing machines (i.e. media studio)
o First video to be aired on 5/5/05
• Community service or donations for platform

Judging:
• GPA
• Video content (students vote in homeroom)
o Recap all day of voting 5/23/05
• Website content
• Minimum requirement of community service/ money raised
• Poster creativity
• Must volunteer time at Boardwalk Night
• Must decorate a designated hallway done Tuesday night (5/24/05)
o Teachers volunteer to supervise and vote on winner
• Meeting Attendance

Prizes: (Minimum)
• 1st Prize- $500 savings bond
• 2nd Prize- $200 savings bond
• 3rd Prize- $100 savings bond
