Oakcrest High School recognizes the value of making connections
across the curriculum. We are in the midst of planning our
5th annual 3 Day Curricular Event. This annual event consists
of interdisciplinary teaching, special events,
and fun activities centering around one theme. Past themes
have
included World War II, The Jersey Shore, the Olympics, and
the New 7
Wonders of the World. This year's theme is Conservation and
Preservation and
will take place May 21st, 22nd 23rd, 2008. This theme encompasses
the environment, history, self and health, culture and community.
