Project Beautification
 

This project was first begun during an earlier three day project and has seen a sparked interest. Students, staff, clubs and organizations are expressing a desire to preserve the look of Oakcrest and conserve its space by opening up the courtyards. There are several yards already claimed for landscaping and the others are going fast. If you should visit during the May Three Day project look for a change around the school and students walking around with just a little more pride in their school having taken an active role in making a change and a difference in their environment.
 
  The top picture is the Library Courtyard which was the original area used in the first 3 day project. Now all the courtyards have been designated to be cultivated. The Wildlife Habitat is going to be an outdoor classroom and this idea began to spread. Now clubs and groups are looking to utilize the other outside areas.
