Activities:
Conservation
Carnival– The carnival
will include booths and activities from various
clubs and organizations that promote conservation
and preservation. If you are interested in
having your activity, club or class represented,
please contact Kris Demark. This activity will
be offered to the PE classes first and will
be held on Thursday from 9-5.
Library Courtyard Opening- An
opening event with planned activities
will take place on Wednesday.
Conservation
and Preservation Jeopardy- Classes
will compete against each other knowledge
of conservation and preservation.
This will take place Wed – Friday.
Recycled
Regatta- teams
will put together a boat made of
recyclable materials and race on
Lake Lenape. This will take place
Wednesday during the activity period.
Fair
Trade Market- Local
stores will be bringing fairly traded
products to Oakcrest for students
and staff to purchase. Additionally
there will be presentations on fair
trade and how it helps to preserve
cultures, the environment and human
rights.
