THE FAMILY EDUCATIONAL RIGHTS
AND PRIVACY ACT

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) afford parents, students over 18 years of age and/or emancipated students (“eligible students”) certain rights with respect to the student’s education records.

As a parent or guardian, the Greater Egg Harbor Regional High School District Egg Harbor Regional High School District has taken these steps to ensure your rights. Areas covered under this Act include your rights to student records and your rights involving student surveys.
