Students may make up this work by attending to these responsibilities during the activity period or by making special arrangements with their teacher(s).

Parents should not sign approval for a student’s participation on a school trip without discussing these matters fully with their child. Since there are numerous courses, programs and activities that sponsor school trips, it must be the student and parents who assume responsibility for maintaining the appropriate balance between participating in school trips and the essential commitment to classroom responsibility.
