Mr. Friedel is from Mays Landing, New Jersey and graduated from Oakcrest in 2010. He graduated from Rowan University with a B.S Chemistry and then acquired a B.A Education from Stockton University. He began his teaching career at Oakcrest in 2019 where he teaches chemistry and forensics. In addition to teaching, he is the head coach for the Oakcrest swim team and assistant coach for the boy volleyball team. He has spent his last 16 summers with the Ventnor City Beach Patrol.
