Mrs. Miller's Honors Literature and Cinema class is reading Unbroken, the true story of Louie Zamperini. Students volunteered to sit in a true-to-size liferaft where Louie and his crew survived for 47 days at sea. This visual allows students to see and feel how crowded the conditions were.

Thank you to the Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections for allowing our seniors to practice the voting process with real voting booths. Many students were able to register to vote for the next national election 🇺🇸
French classes celebrated Mardi Gras today! Senior Sami Jackson brought in a traditional King Cake for the Honors French class, and senior Leah Storr found the "lucky baby charm" inside! (Sami and Mrs. Barry pictured)
Congratulations and great work to Derek Tran and Kaden Boyle for their performances on the All South Jersey Chamber Ensemble Concert. They performed with their groups alongside top students from throughout South Jersey last night at Penns Grove HS.
FCA had a zero period party for Gabe Wilkins! He will be attending Delaware State University for football and track. H e was awarded both athletic & academic scholarships. Gabe led the meeting by sharing how his strength comes from God. We wish him all the best. Go hornets ❤️
Last week, members of our Marching Braves spent time at Island Waterpark in Atlantic City performing for guests before spending some time on rides and in the arcade! Great job!

This day in 2016 ground was broken on Absegami’s garden and a lot has changed since then! In the last 8 years we have expanded to 2 courtyard gardens, 13 chickens, a sustainable pond, butterfly gardens, multiple raised beds, 2 cold frame green houses where we practice 4 season farming, an apple orchard and 2 compost piles. Thank you to every single person who have helped along the way!
Absegami counselors brought students to the Pennco Tech campus in Blackwood, NJ. Students were provide with a presentation and tour of the campus. Thank you @penncotech1 for an informative and exciting morning!
