Oakcrest's Math Club, one of the Nest's busiest student organizations, recently worked together to make 165 PB&J sandwiches, which were donated to a Mays Landing food bank.  Shout-out to all these Falcons for their commitment to community service! 🥜🍇🍞

8th graders from William Davies Middle School were recently treated to a tour of Oakcrest's campus.  These Dragons were guided by students currently enrolled in OHS's REACH program. The Future Falcons explored the Nest and then participated in a Q&A session during which they asked their pressing questions about the coming 4 years.  Thanks to all the staff and student ambassadors who made this visit possible!

Seniors in Oakcrest's Biomedical Magnet have been hard at work in recent weeks preparing for the National Healthcare Association's Electrocardiogram Certification Test, even staying late for after-school group study sessions. Their dedication paid off: 13 OHS 12th graders passed the exam and are now Certified EKG Technicians! Congrats to these Falcons!

Students from Oakcrest's FBLA club & Business department recently visited the Hess school to teach 5th graders about careers and entrepreneurship. This was part of Junior Achievement's "High School Heroes" program to give students an opportunity to give back to the schools in their community. Thanks to Hess for having us and the opportunity to display our Falcon Pride!

Today's Sibling Spotlight is on Kimberly Shaw and Gracie Sykes!  Kim (Co'20), a member of Oak's chapter of the National Honor Society and LAX and Field Hockey teams, was a graduate of the Nest's Biomedical Magnet and went to school for radiology.  She is currently working as an x-ray and cat scan technologist.  Gracie (Co'25) is an integral member of the NHS, Student Council, the Class of 2025 Executive Board, Future Business Leaders of America, and Tennis and Softball teams.  She is unsure where she'll attend college but intends to obtain an MBA.  Both sisters took full advantage of their time at OHS!

Congrats to the 33 members of Oakcrest's Junior Class who were inducted into the Nest's chapter of the National Honor Society in early March.  These students embody the four pillars at the heart of the NHS (scholarship, service, leadership, and character) and will undoubtedly continue to make their school and community proud through their academic accomplishments and good deeds.

In late March, Oakcrest's Concert Band, conducted by teacher Rick Schwartz, joined forces with some Future Falcons, playing a show with musicians from both Hess and Davies. A big round of applause to all the OHS and Hamilton Township students who brought down the house with their performance!

Oakcrest's Boys' Lacrosse team, who has a record of 3-1 and is undefeated in its conference, recently traveled to Princeton University's Sherrerd Field to watch the Tigers play against Lehigh University. This lucky group of Falcons experienced top-level men's LAX and even met some of Princeton's players...all while bonding with teammates. Oakcrest takes on Absegami TOMORROW (Tuesday, April 8) in Galloway! 💙🥍💪
