Good afternoon, At this time, we plan to hold the Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2023 at 6pm this evening. In the event of inclement weather, we will delay the ceremony up to an hour. This means that the ceremony may take place any time between 6 and 7pm as weather permits. Please check the Oakcrest website and social media for the revised start times and other updates. Updates will continue throughout any delay period, if needed. In addition, if there is thunder and lightning in the area when seating begins at 5pm, guests will be directed to wait in their cars until an appropriate time for admission is determined. Graduates will wait in the Wood Floor Gym. The Oakcrest PAC will be opened for those who would like to stay indoors and to view the graduation from our streaming services. Please dress appropriately. We will hold the ceremony in light rain. If using an umbrella, please be mindful of others around you and avoid obstructing the view of other guests. The OHS 2023 Commencement Ceremony will stream live here. Or, by simply searching “OHS 2023 Graduation Ceremony” on YouTube. Link to the Oakcrest website here. Thank you! The shelter in place at Oakcrest high school has been released. All students and staff are safe, and there was no impact to our building or our property. As we shared earlier, the shelter in place was uenacted out of an abundance of caution, and under the advisement of Hamilton Township police. Hamilton, PD was dealing with a law-enforcement matter in one of our local communities. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
