On Friday, September 26th, Oakcrest will induct Dr. Richard Carlson into the Athletic Wall of Fame. An 11-time varsity letter winner in soccer, wrestling and baseball, he was captain of all three teams in 2004. In wrestling, he was a three-time District 32 Champion with a 103–22 career record. He earned Honorable Mention All-CAL in soccer and 2nd Team All-CAL in baseball. He was also recognized as a Varsity Academic Scholar. Dr. Carlson is the owner of Optimal Health Chiropractic and Physical Therapy in Egg Harbor Township, NJ and was a professional team chiropractor for the 2019 Atlantic City Blackjacks.

The Oakcrest High School Athletic Wall of Fame committee is proud to announce Alec Rodriguez as a member of the class of 2025 inductees. A 2019 graduate of Oakcrest, Alec was a 4-year varsity letterman in both football and baseball. Dennis joins the wall of fame as the head football coach (1986–1991), who led the team to an undefeated 9-0 season in 1986 and two sectional titles. As the head wrestling coach (1981–1988), he guided Oakcrest to a South Jersey Group 3 championship, earned induction into the South Jersey Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2018. In addition to coaching, Dennis spent over 45 years mentoring and inspiring students at "The Nest".

A 10-time varsity letter winner across softball, field hockey, and basketball, she captained multiple teams, earned MVP honors in softball (1985–1987) and field hockey (1985–1987) and received All-CAL, All-Area, and leadership awards. Beyond athletics, Liz graduated from Rowan University with dual degrees in Education and Spanish and has been a dedicated educator in the Hamilton Township School District since 2007, earning Teacher of the Year honors in 2017.

He set school records in the 4x100 (41.83) and 4x200 (1:28.17) relays, won 3 NJ State Powerlifting titles (2009–2011) with a 575 lb squat record, and contributed to football’s 9-3 season in 2010. Beyond athletics, he served as Student Council Vice President, earned the Athletic Director’s Award, and went on to graduate from Rowan University with dual degrees in Public Relations and Advertising.
